Vladimir Sergeevich asked his interlocutor whether it was personally useful for him to participate in a project dedicated to the topic of processing coal combustion waste into geopolymer materials. Answering positively, Professor Chaudhary noted that the problem of processing ash and slag waste is a global one, it is also relevant for India and the Russian Federation.

The professor said that in addition to working in the laboratory, he took part in the defense of bachelor's theses of students of the department "General Chemistry and Technology of Silicates", assessed the level of training of graduates who completed diploma projects in the field of technology of ceramics, glass and binders as high. Also, Sandeep Chaudhary got acquainted with many research teams of the university, became interested in the possibility of further multidisciplinary research. Among other things, the polytechnics and the guest from India agreed to organize a series of online seminars in the field of powder metallurgy, biotechnology, materials technology between scientists from SRSPU (NPI) and scientists from the Indian Institute of Technology in Indora.

Professor Chaudhary said that in October of this year, an internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore, is planned for two future graduate students, employees of the laboratory "Fuel Energy Waste Recycling" Yuri Novikov and Vadim Tkachenko. During the internships, it is planned to conduct online seminars between research teams of universities and the participation of graduate students in the international conference ICAMM 2023 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore. Professor Chaudhary also noted that he plans to involve graduate students in working with students of his institute, which will undoubtedly be a useful teaching experience for interns.

Professor Elena Alfredovna Yatsenko, head of the laboratory "Fuel Energy Waste Recycling", spoke about the scientific school "Green Future" for young scientists, graduate students and students. She emphasized that students and post-graduates not only of our university, but also of a number of other higher educational institutions, including St. Petersburg Mining University, Moscow State Civil Engineering University, Tver State Technical University, Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, took part in the scientific school, Don State Technical University. Professor Chaudhary noted a worthy level of presentations of reports on topical issues of industrial waste processing. It was announced that a similar scientific school is planned to be held in late May - early June 2024.

At the end of the meeting, Vladimir Sergeevich Puzin wished Professor Chaudhary a successful solution of all the tasks set in the project and a new meeting next year.
