NPI SCIENTISTS AT THE TECHNOPROM-2022 FORUM

A delegation of Novocherkassk polytechnics headed by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation V.S. Puzin takes part in the IX International Technological Development Forum "Technoprom-2022", which started on August 23 in Novosibirsk. The delegation includes representatives of the Research Institute "Nanotechnologies and New Materials" and the laboratory "Fuel Energy Waste Recycling".

Eleven thousand people from twenty countries of the world gathered at Technoprom-2022 to present and see the latest innovative developments and technological solutions.

The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov.

The minister, in particular, noted that the Russian Ministry of Education and Science annually takes an active part in the forum. “This year we presented a number of new projects. One of them is the "Advanced Engineering Schools", which directly echoes the technology development forum. I hope that today at the panel discussion we will have a full discussion of this new, just launched project,” said Valery Falkov.

Representatives of the SRSPU (NPI) took part in a panel discussion designated by the Minister, where it was announced that the second stage of the Advanced Engineering Schools competition would start in the fall.

The plans of polytechnics at Technoprom-2022 include participation in the event "Science of the Future - Science of the Young", within the framework of which there will be a discussion and consultations on the implementation of projects under Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 220. Recall that this resolution "launched" a program of mega-grants - international cooperation between Russian universities and scientific organizations with world-class scientists and leading foreign scientific and educational centers in the fields of science, education and innovation. Groups of scientists from SRSPU (NPI) also became participants in the mega-grant program, so the interest of Novocherkassk polytechnics in discussing the stated topic is very high.

The organizers of Technoprom-2022 expect that following the results of the forum there will be a list of specific initiatives and projects designed to promote the development of the country's economy and ensure the scientific and technological development of Russia.
